View Full Version : Pathfinder As an undead level 20 cleric, what are ways my character can put meat on his bones?

He likes to make a good impression on others, which may be hard to do if he's nothing more than a glowy eyed skeleton in armor. He's a level 20 cleric with extremely deep pockets and near endless resources... What are some ways he can put meat on his bones, literally?

Hat of Disguise not enough? Or do you need real flesh?

Would alter-self work?

I do have a hat of disguise, though yes I am looking for ways to produce real flesh, lol. Roleplaying reasons, not stats.

I thought about alter self; I know it can disguise species, but I don't know the limits of the spell.

He'd need a wand for it tho, being a cleric.

Edit: unless pathfinder's is not sor/wiz and bard only, that is.

Actually it looks like in pathfinder the hat of disguise counts as alter self.

As for your question: I think it works like this. You still can only choose undead types but you could become a vampire spawn. This means you look human. ;) As Vampire Spawns can blend in.

You have the spell Appearance of life (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/a/appearance-of-life/) designed for that. I remind of another spell to add flesh, but I could not retrieve it.

Edit: I found it (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/f/fleshy-facade/).

Daywalker (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/d/daywalker/) is cleric-5 and does that pretty explicitly (including to incorporeal undead). A Greater Hat of Disguise (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/h-l/hat-of-disguise/) gives you alter self at will, and alter self in Pathfinder always shapes you into a humanoid. A Hat of Infinite Disguises (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/h-l/hat-of-infinite-disguises/) operates as per Veil (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/v/veil/), which includes tactile elements.

One appropriately-sized victim, and a really high Craft: Taxidermy check.

Twine and steaks. Just tie the meat on.

Twine and steaks. Just tie the meat on.

My thinking exactly.
Bones, steaks, full plate. Job done.

Horror Adventures and Villan Codex to the rescue: Appearance of Life, Greater Appearance of Life and Blush of Youth is what you want.
