Hi all
I'm putting together a Human Ranger character for a level 1 Eberron game. We're using a variant gestalt system whereby gestalt dips are available every 5 levels only (so 1, 6, 11, etc). All 3.5 books are allowed but the 3 ToB classes are banned (feats/ maneuvers etc are allowed).
I'd quite like to go the twin-wielder route and I don't want to go into Swift Hunter. I thought perhaps the Feat Rogue variant might be fun as the gestalt dip (so a bonus feat at level 1 & 6 dips, and evasion at 6. Bunch of skill points etc).
Question 1: What feats to take? I have three at level 1 (starting feat + human + feat rogue). Given the ToB restriction perhaps some combination of Martial Study, Martial Stance, Shadow Blade, Weapon Finesse? Or is that just dumb?
Question 2: Is there another class I am overlooking that would make a better gestalt dip for a level 1 ranger?
Thanks
GF
