I was thinking about the Monster Manual, as well as the various "fastest speed you can get" and I realized the major problem of the really powerful "bosses" like the tarrasque is that they are only strong because they are a sack of HP and not much else.

So in order to exploit this, I want to find out how much damage we could cause someone to do with these restrictions (for a possible fun little one-shot type thing later)


Assuming that
1. Only one attack action can be taken, and this can include multiattack (but no action surge)
2. There is a standard party of 4
3. All players are level 20 (PHB DMG and VGM only)
4. The attacks made must be non-magical (but can be buffed by magic, such as a paladin smite)

How much damage could we cause one character's attack action to do, provided any setup and time necessary?

Also, assume all attacks HIT but are not critical hits, and all damage dice are rolled to the highest possible number.
