Converting a Runepriest-Fighter to 5th

Hi all I'm looking for a bit of advice in converting an old char of mine to 5e from 4th he was an Orc Hybrid Runepriest Fighter. Any ideas welcome as all I have is Cleric with fighter levels or try and re fluff an eldrich knight.

I'm probably going to re-fluff the half orc as my race. But have very few ideas on how to go about the class as runepriests dont exist out side of home brew.

There is playable Orc race in Volo's Guide to Monsters, if you're interested. Although, it gets racial penalty to intelligence, which might be slightly problematic for eldritch knight as the base.

On the other hand, Rune Scribe prestige class from an Unearthed Arcana could be interesting for, maybe, a War Priest. Only downsides would be the need to have dex and int 13 (both being more or less dump stats for cleric).

You know, I think I just got an idea.

I've made a wisdom based 1/3 caster rogue archetype, and I could make similar for fighter, with Runepriest as the concept.
