There is an Oracle archetype named Inerrant Voice (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/oracle/archetypes/paizo-oracle-archetypes/inerrant-voice-oracle-archetype/) that grants access to the revelation "Vigilant Protector." One of its abilities allows the oracle to switch places with a person designated by the oracle, if the oracle is aware that his ward is Targeted by an attack or spell. However, the ability does the range of this ability. Does anyone know what it is supposed to be?

For example, let's say the Oracle and the Ward have a telepathic bond effect with each other, and the Ward recognizes that she is being targeted. The Ward uses the telepathic bond ("Help! I'm being targeted!") to immediately inform the Oracle, who is miles away with no line of sight/effect. Can the Oracle use Vigilant Protector to switch places with the Ward?

Second example: What if the Oracle (still far away) was watching the Ward through a Scry and notices an attack targeting the Ward? Can the Oracle use the Vigilant Protector?

Neither of those situations sounds particularly broken, but as a GM, I'd probably cap it at Long range.

You´re right, this revelation has no range cap, as that is defined by the means you "notice the attack". That´s quite ok as you´ll have to spent a spell slot to get this going, which is a fair cost. Keep in mind that handling this´ll get tricky in a surprise round and possible won´t stop an assassinate/death attack or sniping attack.

What about across Planar borders?

What about across Planar borders?

No. Just teleport, no plane shift.
