I have seen people with private threads (ones with no comments) in their sigs. How can I make one?

If you mean like this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=21350743&postcount=170) or this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=20740955&postcount=282), then that is linking to a single post rather than an entire thread. You can view a single post by clicking on the post number in the top right corner, and can then copy the url for linking purposes. There are no private threads, to my knowledge.
