So I am definitely "that guy" in my group. You know the one that is always coming up with strange ideas for non cannon races or monsters to fight or play or fight. The best part about this is my DM lets me go through with some of this as long as it is balanced to annoy the rest of the group's sensitive ideals. My latest idea has to do with monsters that change a person's race through reproduction and what would come about if someone was infected with more than one. This does not count undead or any were creatures because it has to permanently change the infected host in question. The illithids have their tadpoles, the slaad have their eggs and disease. What else is there? I am looking in strictly 3.5 and Pathfinder. And if anyone would please tell me where I could find their stats that would be amazing.

Are you just asking for creatures that create spawn or transform you into one of them, or is there a more specific kind of creature you're looking for within that subset?

Nope that's basically it. Just no undead or lycanthropy. They have to alter the race. Thank you.

Anyone who is a victim of mind seed?

All those change the person in question? I'm looking for something that does it much like the slaad or illithid. Maybe something with a community of sorts?

A little less involuntary, but Elan aren't born, they are joined by those that want to become Elan.

Xill (MM1) implant eggs that hatch 90 days later (much like a Red Slaad).

Quanlos (MM4) sort of do the same thing.

There's a vargouille-hydra hybrid in one of the monster manuals called the Shrieking Terror, which may reproduce similarly to vargouilles.

That's not a monster.

My edition-fugue is showing. Alas, Green Slime used to be a monster (I say alas because relegating it to the hazards section of the DMG means some DMs just don't use it in 3rd ed games, which I think is a shame). It was an iconic monsters once.
