Does anyone realize what this means?

Someone finally made a spot check and it was Elan!

Nonsense. Elan didn't make a Spot Check; V's PC Jacket was clearly visible. That's the purpose of PC Jackets!

V's brightly red colored robes give a +10 bonus to spot.

And Elan has a much better spot check than Belkar, I guess. He's likely to roll a good result sooner or later.

I think all this means is that V has a horrible Hide check. Maybe V's Dex is lower than we thought? (Plus a Hide penalty from wearing red in Azure City.)
