To all experienced players! I am very new to D&D and only have a couple session under my belt. My group of fellow players are very experienced and know much more than I do and always try to "break" the game. One of them has decided to create an arena battle for level 20 characters to fill some time. He has given the following rules for the battle:

Base stats: 18 18 16 17 10 10
Build to Level 20 character
Must have a legitimate sources from dungeons and dragons 3.5
2 million gold forequipment
No guestalt (forgive spelling)
You start the match prepared
One round to activate equipment and etc.
Start 40 feet between each person
No other restrictions

I would like somebody to build me that the "Pun Pun" character so that I may use it in the arena for a bunch of laughs. However because of the time crunch I do not have the ability to learn enough about the character to modify it for this level 20 event and I was hoping somebody who is more experienced and likes to do Jankey things would build me this character so I can learn how to use it. I know this is a selfish request but I hope somebody can hear me out! I'm just looking to have a little fun with some friends so I would appreciate constructive criticism him or help from anyone Willing.

Dude, you can achieve Pun-Pun at level 1. Level 20... My god, man. The floodgates are open, the river is pouring in, the world is drowning!

What exactly do you mean by "breaking the game"? OPness is in the eye of the beholder, so you're going to have to elaborate.

Does that mean you can help me with my selfish request?

I'm sorry, I am just using the same words they use. I assume they try to manipulate the game by finding ways to make powerful character using the written rules. Much like the "pun pun" I have read about.

Pun-pun is a thought exercise, not a character. Actually playing it in a game means you just win. It's a kobold with literally any and every ability you can think of, and ability scores of "just pick a really big number". To be honest, with as little system knowledge as you have any description about how Pun-pun works will go completely over your head, and any character sheet for Pun-pun once it "goes off", is just looking through all the books for cool abilities and writing them down. If you're absolutely set on Pun-pun, you'd better start reading (http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?469041-The-most-powerful-character-EVER-Pun-Pun).

Try something like a Wizard (Abjurer) 3/Master Specialist 9/Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil 7/Archmage 1. Still a complex character and likely more than you'll be able to handle effectively, but very hard to kill and packs a good punch offensively because they've got 20 wizard caster levels.

Well, what kinds of things are they playing? Don't just say the class, by the way- what are they doing? 3.5 is such a breakable system that they could be at literally any power level, based on the description that you gave.

In an arena style battle like that it is probably very important to do whatever you can to maximize your initiative score. Because at that level and that kind of OPness, if you go second you might not get to go at all.
