Kaleth's Store of Magical Items and Goods/Kaleth's Home

There is a large mansion located towards the eastern edge of Town. It is made from stone, and elegant. There is a smaller, square, stone building in front of it, with a sign that reads,
"Kaleth's Magical Items and Goods".
Inside, the walls are lined with things like scrolls, wands, and staffs. There is another section for magical equipment and items. Magical weapons will be made on demand, as will pretty much everything else.
The store is staffed by pixies and sprites, about half the size of a human. They may not look like much, but they are pretty good fighters. The store's security comes in the form of magic-resistant, powerful Diamond Golems and assorted elementals.
A pixie will assist you upon your entrance to the store. They will ask you what you want, and take your order for items. Payment system is payment on delivery of the item.
The "bouncer" is an Earth Elemental(looks different from D&D one), as the Diamond Golems are saved for real fights only.

CURRENT ORDERS- I may not be here when you come to pick them up, so it is assumed that you pay and the pixies give you what you ordered if I am not.
Dunavar(player)- Magic leather armor imbued with Haste(speed) and Bloodlust(strength).
Truck- Magical tissues, magical for hardness.

[LordVader]

Kaleth emerges from his mansion, walks through the store, and out into the Streets. Seeing that all is well, he teleports to Trog's.

[LordVader]

Pixies finish stocking all the shelves with magical items, and wait for customers. Diamond Golems emerge from the mansion into the store, due to the need for protection from the Scrin. Also, for reference, the store has no windows.

An AWOL waddle dee walks in

hello?

A pixie flies over.
"Yes?"

do you have any job openings?

[LordVader]

"What did you have in mind for yourself to do?"

[metakirb]

um... i've done stacking before... thats about it...

[LordVader]

"Well, are you fast?"

[metakirb]

yeah

He paces to fill the text needs

[LordVader]

"Very well, you have a job. You get one item or piece of equipment free, and you get reduced cost on all other items."

[metakirb]

okay, do i need to do anything now?

[LordVader]

"Not right now, we will summon you via magic when we need you. What item do you want?"
((Basically, he can get almost any magical item for free.))

um...

A mech jumps onto his shoulder

are there any magic polishers? he needs a cleaning

He smiles, apparently waddle dee are optimists as a species

He gets handed a jar of "Magical Polish- One application, and the surface will shine for a hundred years! The polish repels anything that would take away the finish!"

He liberally apllies it to the mech, and it becomes shiny...

Kaleth and two Earth Elementals appear with a clap and a flash of light. He looks up and down the street for any Scrin, and then heads into the store. Several pixies greet him as he does so. He waves them away, and then proceeds beginning to cast spells on the mansion that will make it resistant to damage.

A dark figure walks into the store.
He looks around, but with what emotion you do not know as you cannot see his face.

[LordVader]

A pixie flies over.
"Can I help you?"
((Just so you're aware, the battleground includes the area outside Trog's. You're liable to get shot at if you go walking around there.))

[Dunavar]

((My character ignored it. Any blasts fired his way would've bounced off him in a 1 foot radius.))
I'm looking for magic Leather Armor...might you have any?

[LordVader]

"Magic leather? Well, that is certainly an unusual request. No, we don't have any in-stock, but we can have one ready in 24 hours. What, exactly, do you want the magical properties to be?"
((How would they bounce off?:smallconfused: ))

[Dunavar]

((if you read his description, you find that he is a 20th level sorcerer. Not to mention his technology defying ring. The ring makes it so no technology effects him.))
The properties? Increased speed and strength.

[LordVader]

"All right, so a suit of leather armor imbued with Haste and Bloodlust, don't be alarmed by the name, sir, it enhances your strength, no side effects. That'll be, hmmm, 2500 GP. "
((I think that's about right, if I'm wrong, tell me and I'll edit it. But don't just try to get the price slashed!:smalltongue:))
((Also, you're going to take a lot of flak for godmodding for that ring. Probably, anyways.))

((I believe it'd actually be more along the lines of 7500g, I'll look it up))

((I don't know how much Haste and Bloodlust would cost.:smallfrown:))
"Actually, sir, that will be 6000 GP."
((Stupid DMG, not listing strength and speed enhancements.:smalltongue: And I guess I can always use Antimagic Field to stop the ring, so no biggie.:smallsmile: ))

((yeah really. but wait...masterwork it says are 300gp base price...are the enchants minor medium or major?))
A dark glow fills the room and there is a low hum. Eventually though, the dark stranger nods his head.

((Haste would probably be minor, Bloodlust medium as it gives him a large strength boost.))
Kaleth attempts to discern what type of magic, if any, he just used.
"Yes sir, thank you for your patronage."
Several sprites go into the back room and begin crafting the armor.

Kelath would be able to tell it was otherworldly magic, but thats it. Certainly not normal magic.
((We're way off....just a sec...it'd be more like 26,000, if we go off the armor prices and increases, even though it's not armor increase it's the best I could find))

((Well, assuming it's a +1 armor, that puts it at like 2000 GP base, and then you have like 4000 for the spells. Also, I don't think there's any difference between normal magic and otherwordly magic.:smalltongue:))
Kaleth attempts to determine what spell was used- he is a Magic Elemental, after all.

((+1 it may be, but a minor enchant, Haste, and a medium enchant, Bloodlust or something, it'd be more than that. Minor would be an extra 1000gp, medium would be up to 16,000gp. Sure theres a differences in other worldly magic. Its not magic from planes or anything. It's from an entire different world...the town is a nexus for that stuff.))
Kelath might determine that the magic is not meant to harm.

((Bloodlust is probably like ~8000, since it's like a +5 Strength boost. I don't play D&D though, only have the books, so don't take my word for it.))

"Well, what is the item?"

[Nightwing]

Magic tissue paper believe it or not.

((We'll assume that you said that price the first time shall we?))
The dark stranger nods again, and walks outside.

[LordVader]

"Magic in what way? We'll probably have to make that for you."
((Fine by me.))

[Nightwing]

OK.i will come back tomorrow.

"Sir, wait! You haven't told us what you want their magical properties to be! Or how many you want!"

[Nightwing]

Just make them hard to break and shoot laser beams. I want enough to cover ten people completely.

*He leaves*

[LordVader]

"Uh, sir, we can't make them shoot lasers, but we can make them extremely hard."
Sprites begin to work on that as well.

[Nightwing]

*Truck walks in*

[LordVader]

"Ah, welcome, sir! We have your order ready, right here."
A stone golem walks out of the back, holding several large boxes. He opens them. They're filled with tissues.
"I will show you how to use them."

[Nightwing]

Yeah! my tissues are ready!

[LordVader]

"We made them hardenable. Just say "Keron" and they harden to steel. That will be twenty-five thousand GP for enough to cover ten people, sir."

[Nightwing]

*A Frog jumps out a trucks pocket. There is a flash of light and it grows to be about ten feet tall and ten feet wide. It spits 25 thousand GP onto the floor. Surprisingly, the money is not wet at all.*

The stone golem hands him the boxes.
"There you go, sir."

[Nightwing]

*the frog shrinks and jumps into Trucks pocket. truck takes the boxes and leaves*

[LordVader]

Kaleth teleports into his mansion, looks around, and deadtimes.

Kaleth appears inside his mansion and slumps to the floor, his caped back to a wall.
