The Legendary Hollywood Superstar version of everyone's favourite serial killer. Inspired by Winghorn Press' Actual Cannibal Shia LeBeouf which formed the chassis/base for this boss take: http://imgur.com/GyFxCFn

Curious as to whether some of the language used for his abilities is unclear/significantly flawed, or his balance is off.

White on black text is annoying. Why do that?

He should performance expertise, not just proficiency.

Seems like a fun encounter, though! Not 100% sure on CR accuracy, but I'd play against him. :P

Hmm? Background is black, text is grey to minimize eyestrain.

CR calcs put him slightly above 8 but not quite at CR 9 (ended up being around 8.3-8.4), so I rounded down.

I dunno. Maybe it's just me? But I find that annoying.

Anyway, my calculations put him at...

Defensive CR: HP 113, AC 16. Resistance to main damage types bumps his HP up to, effectively, 160ish. Actual Cannibal will hit, let's say, 10 times throughout the fight (he can make three attacks with it a turn, plus legendaries, so it could accomplished by turn 2, if he hits a ton) for 70 extra HP, bringing him to 230. We'll also assume he never gets to eat a corpse, because players are keeping him busy.

So HP 230, AC 16. Comfortably CR 10 defensively, maybe CR 11.

Offensive CR: +8 to hit, DC 16, average of (let's say 4 attacks per round) 36 DPR.

But only CR 6 offensively.

So, average that and you get CR 8, maybe 9. So yeah, seems accurate enough. The one thing is he has the ability to turn a downed character into a perma-dead character very easily.

Not sure about the balance (unfamiliar with 5e), but it was a hilarious read. Kudos!

Haha, thanks rferries; definitely half the point of this stat block.

@JNAProductions: The one thing to be noted is that Shia can either max out his damage or max out his healing, but he can't do both. I just assumed he was making axe attacks all the time to calculate the expected damage and effective hit points.

Added the following:

There’s A Gun To Your Head (Action): (https://youtu.be/o0u4M6vppCI?t=120)
Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 90/270 ft., load (15), one target.
Hit: 10 (1d12+3) piercing damage.

He's Dodging Every Swipe, He Parries to the Left (Reaction): (https://youtu.be/o0u4M6vppCI?t=137)
Shia imposes Disadvantage on an attack roll made against him by a creature he can see. If this attack misses by 5 or more, after it resolves, Shia can make an attack against that creature.

Lurking in the Sha-dowsss could use some rephrasing for ease of use. I think: "He can attempt to hide even when only lightly obscured." is a better way to say it. It's how the Wood Elf's ability is worded.

There's a lot to remember for the DM. And Just do it! is a mixing of memes.

Other than that, it's great and well done!

Thanks! Yeah, put the wording as it is due to lifting it from some entry in the Monster Manual, but I like the Wood Elf version more as it's better streamlined.

As for Just Do It, I couldn't really find a lyric from the song that would sensibly translate into the resistance to CC he needs as a boss, and naturally this meme immediately came to mind for that.
