Help me find 4HD tiny animals, preferably flying/burrowing

I'm working on a guide to the listen skill. And wouldn't you know it, there are at least 4 different ways to get stackable +1 or +2 boni to listen checks that are simply contingent on packing a 10-20 foot radius with willing "allies."

Which means handle animal + teamwork benefits can solve this problem if you want to like, buy your tiny allies from a market rather than convince a DM to give you 10s or 100s of NPCs to abuse. But TW Benefits ask for 4 HD, and tiny critters tend to have low HD.

Would Small creatures all with Swarmfighting also help for this, since they can share squares? Legendary Eagles are small with 12 HD, you can do some DCFS or similar to get them swarmfighting.

Wouldn't clumping a bunch of chittering/croaking/flapping animals around you make it harder to hear though?

Not if you're getting like +8 per animal ally.

The best bet from the SRD is a tiny monkey, advanced to 3HD, then trained (or bought) as a warbeast for the extra 1HD.

My Black Sparrow (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=21197986&postcount=91) build can do this. If you need a particular HD, she can shift form into a Phiuhl (Fiend Folio... Not sure of the spelling) to drain away HD.

What about a Bard with Inspire Greatness? 2HD might be easier to find than 4HD.
