I know i was here asking questions regarding artificers and renegades last time and now here Im about Factotum. After looking into The cheese base of them i throught it would be cool to run one (go figure). Started looking into ways to boost the Iaijutsu Focus and to also gain more AoO. Ofc i know Flick of the wrist/Hidden Blade/Sudden draw etc. Also Skilltricks Acrobatic Backstab and Sudden Draw.

And some may ask if you know all this what are you doing here?

The thing is I want to be a warforged. Since they got a weapon similar to the Gnomish quick razor. Acts just like it but its more powerful and etc etc. But I dont want all the warforged "perks" (yes call me crazy) Ive been looking into ways to getting it (i.e Renegade mastermaker) or hell even going Half golem with a proper back story and then work up to it. But im not sure if it seems senseable.

So the Char would pretty much be a I will proc/make/Create AoO for myself and gank ya. But I also wanted to take flaws/traits which would hamper him out of combat. So pretty much a battle crazed in your face that tricks and dazzels with "hidden" weapons.

Any suggestions or thoughts on the subjects would be great and apperciated.Or if ya think i already got my foundation and run with it say that. IM always on the fence when i find something and go into the research (Ive spent like 3-5 days looking into this stuff for this concept)

Thanks for any and all help folks.

DM doesnt want PF stuff in and any 3.5 Books/magazines are fine.

Edit: One of the group members is pretty much telling me Suck it up and build it and let the DM dice fall where they may. Which im going to assume what may happen. IN such a case. Can anyone give suggestions to round out a warforged whos going to literally be in the enemys face as a factotum and any possible protections from spell that would cripple them specificly?

Well going warforged form the getgo is probably not a bad choice.
But if you'd rather not: just do the quickrazor as is. The bulk of the damage isn't coming from the weapon but from piling up Iaijutsu, Knowledge Devotion, Cunning Insight, and Cunning strike (possibly with craven or assassin stance)

If you want to make a fancier razor there's materials and templates that can make it deal bonus damage

Also don't forget about teamwork benefits.

As to getting AoOs: don't forget feinting, tripping, and throwing marbles at them

One of the main reasons I dont want to go in as a warforge is due to the fact they have allot of immunitys plus with the area where in warforged may a bit of a stretch. The group im playing with has had some losses so far and ofc higher level got different chars rolled in.Currently we have a Orc cleric/Dargon born monk/Tiefling dread necromancer/halfling rogue sniper.

Since i know my char may fall one day I have been planning a possible replacement and as such have "written" to my friend informing of my chars location and current party. So at least when some random pc shows up its a bit more believable.

Warforged friend isn't bad though. But I getcha
Note: a dead character could always get folded back into the party as a ghost. Ghosts make great rogues

My char is a halfling Metamagic specialist sorcer and a armored mage fighter. Who was captured with his orginal party tortued by drow and somehow escaped. He no longer speaks halfling due to being beaten everytime he did so it comes out broken. Speaks common seldemly and understand drow sign languge.

And we die we die. no ghosts. lol. As you were saying about templates for weapons im not well versed in DnD from a mechanical point of view. I normally played "basic" classes and did 1 shot adventures. this is the first real On going adventure i have had.
