Removing Paralysis from a (Su) Gaze Attack

Have a player who just got paralyzed by a dracolich's paralyzing gaze.
My players are arguing for Break Enchantment to work to remove it. I say no, because it is not an Enchantment Transmutation or Curse.
So they need a Freedom of Movement or a Remove Paralysis, right?
Thoughts?

paralyzing gaze is a supernatural ability, so can't be removed via break enchantment.

freedom of movement or remove paralysis would would work.

if break enchantment with its 1 minute casting time is a viable option for an effect that only lasts 2d6 rounds, it sounds like the party is out of combat. they could always just wait it out in that case.
