Is there any way to use an arcane mark against the wizard who cast it?
This is for a mark that was cast onto a creature, which barely escaped the party in the ensuing fight. The mark will linger on the creature for a month before it fades. Is there any way it can be put to mischief during that month?

As far as I can tell, having a wizard's arcane mark on hand gives you no special vectors of assault against him.

I reckon you could try and forge the mark to sully the mage's name, and get a +4 to the forgery as you have the sample there.
Make sure you can't fail a trio of DC 15 will saves and you can even do it in Faerun

It should count as a "connection" for scrying purposes I'd say.

Attack someone able to see the arcane Mark that knows who it is from, while feigning mind control, then "snap out" of it .
Have the Wizard deal with the law or another caster.

Sue them for assault, using the mark as proof.

"A bright glowing sign?"
"... I got better."
