So, I like to flesh out my PCs with delightfully melodramatic backstories.
But fleshing out the characters in these backstories takes a lot of time, so I decided to source out to the Playground:
I want a character who began as a druid in Onnwal (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/region/onnwal), a province from Living Greyhawk.
As it happens, the Scarlet Brotherhood came along and starting burning, pillaging and the like, and their path was headed straight for her grove, so she started doing some less-than-good rituals to make the Brotherhood regret crossing her path.
Then as she grew more powerful, she found it was to her liking. Thus she did more unnatural acts to gain more power, and so now she is much, much worse than the villains she sought to fight.
TL;DR: An ECL 20 character who started as a human female druid, but is now a horrid abomination. Any 3.5 WOTC sources.
