Simple question--I'm wondering if a weapon enchantment or spell exists that can make a weapon only usable by its owner.

Owner is a bit of a nebulous term in D&D. In normal cases, the wielder is de owner de facto.

Yeah, I understand. Really I'm satisfied with anything that can make it so a weapon is only usable by one specified individual; i.e., villians can't steal your awesome magic weapon while you're unconscious then use it against you later.

It's mostly for fluff reasons, but I'd still rather use official content if I can.

A Intelligent Magic Item with the purpose of Defeat/slay all (other than the item and the wielder) could cut off all benefits of itself from anyone other than the original owner.

Easiest way that comes to mind is to use something like Incarnate Weapon soulmeld or a *shudder* soulknife.

An intelligent magic item with a high ego score to fight against the thief would work well. The easiest way to accomplish that (and way most often banned...) is by using the Item Familiar feat from Unearthed Arcana. Also in the SRD here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/itemFamiliars.htm)

You could make it so that the magic weapon is limited by your race/alignment and Skill ranks by the rules. I mean presumably another very similar character could use its magic, but it's better than nothing.

Makes the weapon cheaper to craft, even!

I would second prototype's suggestion, and maybe adding a command word to the weapon's abilities. Both could be bypassed by UMD, but I think most options that are actual physical weapons can...

A possible alternative: Eldritch Glaive Kensai

Naw, that would just make it so nobody would want to use it.

At least, based on the samples.

You might want to look at Call Weaponry (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/callWeaponry.htm) or the PsyWar ACF based on the same power. (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070214a)

With the mention that the Pathfinder Soulknife is pretty amazing.

The 3.5 Soulknife? Not so much. *Shudder.*
