OK, so if you've played Jade Empire you know what this is, this started off as a thought experiment to see if it was possible by RAW to make Terra-Cotta Soldiers this way and low and behold it is! Let me run you through it.

Starting with a big block of steel we make the mold itself by cutting it in half and carving out the inside while adding a funnel in the top that channels into the mold and a hopper on the outside with channels leading from it to various points in the mold, next we build a base for the mold that has an arm that the front half of the mold swings on to open and close it and a square frame hanging over the molds funnel with the inside lined with stone. Next we enchant the thing with Wall of Stone, Transmute Rock to Mud, Transmute Mud to Rock, Soften Earth and Stone, Ash Storm (this is the only spell to not come from the Core Rulebook and is in Ultimate Magic), Control Water, Heat Metal, Animate Objects, Cat's Grace, Geas/Quest, and Keen Edge.

When activated the mold casts Wall of Stone on the frame filling it, next Transmute Rock to Mud is cast on the stone leaving the stone lining alone for further castings and letting the mud flow it into the mold, next Animate Objects is used to shake the mold to tap out any air bubbles (as well as swinging the base's arm), next is Transmute Mud to Rock followed by Soften Earth and Stone to turn the stone into clay, next Ash Storm and Control Water (the same spell used to create an Decanter of Endless Water) are combined to make an ash glaze (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ash_glaze) in the hopper which itself is combined with the hoppers preexisting contents to make the needed magical glaze and Control Water is used again to spread the glaze across the would be golem, finally Heat Metal is used on the mold itself to bake the golem while Animate Objects, Cat's Grace, Geas/Quest, and Keen Edge are cast on it and afterward the mold swings open to let the new soldier out.

All that's left is to figure out how much the hopper reagents cost and make a stat block, comments? Edit: I'm looking for advice on the reagent's price and what ever comes to your mind.

P.S. as a side note, acording to the Terra-Cotta Solder's stat block the glaze costs 500 GP and the needed clay cost's only 60 GP (Ultimate Equipment list's the price of a pound of clay as 1 SP) so that just leave the question of what the other 5440 GP goes to?

Edit: The Stat Blocks

Terra-Cotta Press (Lesser)

Aura Strong Transmutation; CL TBD
Slot none; Price TBD; Weight TBD

Description
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This large block of steel is split in half with some sort of hopper built in to the front half and rests on a square base with a
metal column rising from the base and extending form past the top of the block at the midway point of the column is a
lever and a swinging frame arm comes out and attaches to the side of one of the block half's and at the top of the
column hanging over the block is a square frame with the inside lined in stone, opening the block reveals a mold forming a
armored soldier.

This item is technically a construct albeit a relatively simple one having only a single joint, what makes it so special is the
fact it makes other constructs, namely Terra-Cotta Soldier's. With an 8 hour ritual that even non-spell casters can preform
that cost X GP in reagents to preform binds the press to the caster making any Soldiers made by that press treat the
bound individual there master as if they had created the soldier themselves and can be activated with a pull of the lever
after filling the hopper with 200 GP worth of magical reagents. The press can only be activated by its master and can only
be bound to one person at a time, and if someone try's to binds themselves to the press the owner ship of previously
made soldiers is not transferred, if someone try's destroy it or bind themselves to the press without it's master present it
sounds an alarm to alert an guards quickly makes a soldier to defend itself with using emergency reagents in a hidden
hopper that needs to be refilled after use, however due to the quick and dirty method of it's creation the solder is flawed,
roll a D4 and compare the result to the Soldier Flaw table.

When activated the mold casts Wall of Stone on the frame filling it, next Transmute Rock to Mud is cast on the stone
leaving the stone lining alone for further castings and letting the mud flow it into the mold, next Animate Objects is used
to shake the mold to tap out any air bubbles, next is Transmute Mud to Rock followed by Soften Earth and Stone to turn
the stone into clay, next Ash Storm and Control Water are combined to make an ash glaze in the hopper which itself is
combined with the hoppers preexisting contents to make the needed magical glaze and Control Water is used again to
spread the glaze across the would be soldier, finally Heat Metal is used on the mold itself to bake the soldier while
Animate Objects, Cat's Grace, Geas/Quest, and Keen Edge are cast on it and afterward the mold swings open to let
the creation out, it should be noted that a press can only create one type of soldier chosen at its creation.

Requirements Craft Construct, Wall of Stone, Transmute Rock to Mud, Transmute Mud to Rock, Soften Earth and Stone,
Ash Storm, Control Water, Heat Metal, Animate Objects, Cat's Grace, Geas/Quest, and Keen Edge; Cost TBD

Terra-Cotta Press

Aura Strong Transmutation; CL TBD
Slot none; Price TBD; Weight TBD

Description
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This press is just like the lesser press except as noted here, this item consists of a large heptagon platform with the six
presses arranged around its edge with the fronts facing in and stairs down on the remaining side, in the middle is a
single large hopper feeding into each press with a lever at it's side. 1200 GP of reagents must be placed in the hopper
before the press can be used.

Requirements Craft Construct, Wall of Stone, Transmute Rock to Mud, Transmute Mud to Rock, Soften Earth and Stone,

is used to make Terra-Cotta Commanders, the hopper and lever to activate it is set into the base opposite the column
and the hopper needs X GP in reagents and X GP in powdered jade.

Very detailed and that game was indeed great. I recall something about needing a special golem to control the others, though?

Yes, a massive Jade Golem, I had forgot about that.

EDIT: It should be pointed out that Jade Empire is a Low to Mid Magic setting with only blasters for casters and that Pathfinder has way more options to control golems then the Empire does.
