Should I update 3.5 subraces to Pathfinder?

I'm going through some of my old material and I've found a few old subraces for 3.5 that I'm debating updating to Pathfinder; the question becomes, should I? I'm not sure how it would fit, what with the RP rules.

The RP rules are kinda bleh. It's false precision for the most part.

If the subraces are integral to a game you're running or a character concept, it seems worthwhile.

I would suggest just creating new RP abilities if the existing ones don't really cover what you want, then mix and match those with the existing ones (replacing key abilities of the parent race as necessary.) Don't bother trying to kludge the existing ones if they don't fit, and don't bother treating the RP point values as gospel - follow the spirit of the system instead, and assign points based on what seems more likely to create a balanced and fair race.
