Hey,

Going back a decent while now (2-ish years?), I remember some of the Path of War developers talking about wanting to revisit a few of the disciplines and tweak their numbers. My memory is that Primal Fury and Broken Blade were being singled out to have their damage lowered; if there were others discussed, I don't remember them. Does anyone know if there's a timetable around that yet, or is that still on the back burner?

Thanks,
Ghorrin Redblade

Still on a backburner, with no outward sign it's being worked on at this stage, unfortunately.

They're never going to do it, it's just a ploy to keep people buying the books. You can use my unofficial errata (http://www.bpfindley.com/PoWErrata.html) if you like. Though if you don't use Athletics or Automatic Bonus Progression (ABP) you'll have to ignore the couple of things that refer to that.

I have it on a reliable word that it is being worked upon, although outside of PF and BB (which are getting rebalanced) it's mostly fixing wording stuff and such.

ErrantX said it would be posted in a week, over 2 years ago. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=19002340&postcount=1161)

ErrantX was also dealing with some Real Life Medical Issues (https://www.gofundme.com/errantx) two years ago. This may have had some *small* impact on the project.

I have been told that as well by the Dreamscarred Press Facebook page. More than six months ago. I do not know what to believe today.

They did manage to release a Bloodforge version with Errata included, so no all hope has been lost.

5/12/2015 - Errata is being worked on. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=19241457&postcount=828)
9/19/2015 - Errata is our next update. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=19843713&postcount=1476)
2/27/2016 - Errata is coming. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=20474010&postcount=613)
12/20/2016 Errata is being worked on. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=21513634&postcount=15)
None of these are from ErrantX.

The errata is not actually being worked on. It's not actually possible for them to have worked on the errata for that long without finishing. They've released many books in that time, and they keep telling us the errata is coming so that people buy the books, in the assumption that Dreamscarred is still the nice and lovable 3PP that cares about its customers.

You seem to have a dislike of dream scarred my guy. They do have patrons to make happy and they have been pretty reliable on releases and being forthright (I think only one pdf has been late since I subbed almost 7 months ago I think, and explanations as for why). We have been waiting a while for the errata but with how many playtest and releases they've been doing, and the fact that they have said repeatedly that it's not their highest priority (which makes sense since they do have patron obligations and other such), seems reasonable that we would still have to wait. I also dislike that the wait is taking so long, but it's hard to hate when they have been super reliable.

I don't see how being multiple years late is reliable, especially when they lie to people about it. I don't hate DSP, Ultimate Psionics is one of my favorite books ever. I just think it's bad business practice to release books loaded with errors and do nothing about it. They could have just opened a thread for errata at any time in the past years and had most of the work done by the community, but they just do nothing.

It appears that the first step towards cohesive PoW errata has been taken! Yay! Linkity: http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2ueny?Dreamscarred-Press-Path-of-War-Errata

I'm liking the new Fly skill ranks = initiator level and retraining rules. Little confused by the removal of all the discipline weapon exclusivity that some disciplines had (especially solar wind's), but I suppose more flexibility is always good.

Later on in the errata they mention that the action still has to be permitted with the weapon used. For with the ranged talents probably

I'm impressed. They still haven't addressed the biggest issue of the maneuver balance, but it's definitely nice to have a lot of the other issues fixed. Hopefully they incorporate this into the PDF/print books when it's all done.

If anyone from DSP wants to use my work you're welcome to do so.
