I try to search a thread and only display posts by a given user, but it will tell me no matches are found. how do I perform this search?

There's been a pervasive problem with the search, recently, where no results after... I believe Jan 31st of this year are displayed. We don't, unfortunately, have any more info than that. This is probably part of that, though.

The thread I'm looking at is older than that, but that's still good to know.

"Search" now works again, now for February and March!

The thread I'm looking at is older than that, but that's still good to know.

Do you know which forum it was in? Some of the forums have a very aggressive archive cleansing policy.
