I don't think too many people will notice though, but it seems these threads are kinda popular so I figure I might as well. I'm moving next week, and all this time, the computer and internet access which I have come to love have been provided by the loving parental unit, and will not be coming with me. I plan on getting a new computer myself eventually, but it isn't exactly the top priority of things to get done after I move (like get a job, go to Gencon, and reacquaint myself with the city).

To make matters worse, I have been forced to taste my first dose of a DSL connection at home. Alas, it is bitter sweet, as I'll only be able to enjoy for a week. I know my mom did this on purpose. I've been bugging her for years to get a better connection and when does she finally do it? A week before I move out. One final jab at getting back at me for causing the pain of giving birth, I guess.

P.S.: This is also a sad attempt at seeing how many people actually recognize me around here and might actually notice that I'm gone.

I hope the move to Indy goes well. A bit of advice, find someone to make the drive with you, so you can also guilt them into helping you unpack everything.

Well, I'm in Key West, FL now. My friend who is down here visiting from Gainesville (he goes to UF) is taking me back there with him. From there I'll be on a Greyhound the rest of the way to Indy. Most of my stuff (movies, books, and games) is already there. I'm able to carry everything in my current possession in two bags. So unpacking won't be too much of a problem.

Oh noes! Where shall I go for drunken runtling sorcerer goodnesses now? :smalleek:

Steal Ma Krade's newly installed Intartubes and take them to Indianapolis with you. Also, build decent race course (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%BCrburgring) when you get there!

You do realize that it has been a months since I used that avatar, right? No matter, I think its kinda funny that I'm still recognized by an avatar I don't use anymore.

Stealing it isn't really an option, I'm far too nice to consider doing something like that.

If I cared at all for the Indy 500, I think that might piss me off a bit, but I don't. Racing is lame.

I have that avvie saved. When people ask me "What's so good about the GITP forums anyway?", I simply email them it, along with the caption: 'I give you, a typical playgrounder' as my entire argument. Have not lost yet.

The power of retro-Krade-ish avatar is undeniable. :smallcool:

Greyhound from Gainsville to Indy, I wish you luck with that right there.

I know why some people are afraid of using Greyhound, but I've really never been all that concerned. I've been riding Greyhound across the country for over half my life, and this particular departure and destination at least a dozen times. There are two tricks I've developed for safe and comfortable travel on the Greyhound: Don't eat anything (or very little) so you don't have to sit down in the "bathroom" on the bus(kinda moot for the female population:smalltongue: ). And DO NOT sleep. That way you run less of a risk of being robbed. Not carrying large amounts of cash or valuables helps too in case you do get robbed.

This is it...

My last post for an unknown period of time. I'll miss my regular internet access, I really will (and, to a lesser extent, some of you as well:smalltongue:). I'll come back as soon as I can.

Buh-Bye!
