Poisonous Animal Companions

What animal companion, for a 4th level ranger, has the best poison? As in, the character wants to milk the poison and apply it to their blades.

Imp, Areana, Ettercap and Medusa all have decent poison and are around the right level for a cohort if the DM allows any of them. At least off the SRD.

So I completely misunderstood my friends question. I thought he was asking about poisonous cohorts, he wanted a poisonous animal companion for his ranger cohort.
