After going over the monster manual I noticed there are no neutral good or neutral evil dragons. So, I made these fellas to fill this gap. I've only made the young versions so far but I'll eventually create the other versions and make new threads for them.

Brown Dragons

Brown dragons are strong and brutal creatures. Though almost as unintelligent and bestial as white dragons, brown dragons delude themselves with ideals of nobility. They subsist on the resources of others by pillaging humanoids who travel their lands. Though other creatures see this behavior as savage, brown dragons rationalize it as taxation of trespassers. If humanoids begin to avoid their territory they merely expand it to the nearest village or settlement and begin to raid their wealth. Considering their parasitic relations with humanoids, these dragons are considered abhorrently lazy (an entirely accurate assumption).

Brown dragons are very large and bulky creatures. Their limbs and wings are small in comparison to their husky frames, and they prefer to lounge around anyway so they don't get very much use out of them lest they find trespassers. They have a thick and rough hide that has a texture similar to gravel.

Brown dragons make their lairs in vast networks of subterranean tunnels under hills and plains. Though they could easily make the tunnels themselves with a combination of their claws and acid they instead force their slaves to dig for them. Brown dragons don't have the sense of mind to tell what is considered valuable and what isn't so they will horde everything they pillage, from precious jewels and masterful works of art to wagon wheels and farming equipment.

Iron Dragons

Iron dragons are reclusive but brilliant creatures. They prefer to spend their time in isolation, alone with their thoughts and their work. They are generally seen as the most intelligent dragons and are constantly toiling away at some invention or other. Though they are somewhat antisocial, if another intelligent creature does some stumble across them they will jump at the chance to share their inventions. In fact, ancient iron dragons will somewhat regularly turn to humanoid form and spread their knowledge to the thinkers of the world.

Iron dragons have frames of average size for a dragon but have lengthy limbs, tails, and wings, with spindly fingers and toes. Their scales are large, dark, and similar to metal shields or other armor.

Iron dragons make their lairs in places far from society with a noted preference to the underdark. They adorn their caves with tools, blueprints, books and anything else that interests them. Their hordes consist of much of the same in addition to magic items of every variety.

Mercury Dragons

Mercury dragons are pursuers of the great pleasures in life, both intellectual and physical. Their breath is a powerful drug that causes intense euphoric feeling. They use this to stage elaborate festivals with all manner of food, drink, and entertainment. Because of its opiatic properties their breath is sometimes bottled and sold for a hefty price on the black market as a narcotic.

Mercury dragons have elongated bodies, necks, limbs, wings, and tails that cause them to resemble snakes to a degree. They have very fluid movement patterns, that cause their scales to reflect light in brilliant scintillating patterns. Around their necks are frilly crests that project these patterns especially well, in addition to the inside of their wings.

Mercury dragons form homes in tropical, sunny places where their scales shine particularly well. Their lairs are almost constant parties with participants, musicians, dancers, and other entertainers all high off of the dragon's breath. Rather than treasure, mercury dragons collect experiences, and other likeminded individuals who participate in their parties for highly extended periods of time.

Orange Dragons

Orange dragons are uncommon in that they are nomadic. They never stay in the same place for more than a decade (a relatively short time in the lens of a dragon), and as such they have little regard for the surrounding landscape. Though similar to white dragons in their somewhat primal, hunter nature, orange dragons are far more cunning predators. They stage elaborate traps and like to stalk and toy with their prey. They take joy in seeing their food panic as they realize their horrible fate, and are considered to rival black dragons in pure cruelty and wickedness.

Orange dragons have a sleek, feline appearance. Resembling big cats to a degree. Along their backs and wings are long spines that resemble their claws and help them blend in with the tall grass and trees that they hide in. Their hide develops dark streaks of black and brown as they age which helps them further blend.

Orange dragons lurk in grasslands and forests in addition to other biomes with abundant hiding places. Considering their roaming hunter nature orange dragons make their hordes from the bones and possessions of creatures they slay, and keep them small enough that they can carry all of it with them.

I know that somewhere there are stats for all the colors of the rainbow for dragons as well as many others like iron and cobalt dragons. They were 3.5 but should be easy enough to convert over, let me see if I can find the books where I saw them.

Edit: Actually the books I was thinking of were the two Draconomicons for DnD 4th edition, The first is for the Chromatics and the second was forMetallics.. I also know that the Yellow and possibly Orange dragons were listed in one of the older Dragon Magazines.
