Tenarimar are tiefling/aasimar cross-breeds. They are treated with fear by extreme upper and lower planar inhabitants, and with a kind of half-trusting, half-fearful respect by everyone else. Many tenarimar are prone to fits, as their instincts from both sides of their ancestry clash and they become unable to concentrate, or may suffer a mood swing.

Many assume that aasimer and tieflings would never congregate under normal, even casual circumstances. This is, however, false. Many find comfort in each other's company as both have been labeled as "different" or an "outsider" by mundane races. Pairings happen, but result in pure-blooded aasimar and tieflings more often.

Physically the tenarimar appears similar to a human in build, though a particular set of traits from their ancestry may merge and proclaim to the world at large what they are. Usually this creates an appearance of conforming dichotomies. If the tenarimar is pale of skin they would have dark hair, and vice-verse. It is far from unusual for a tenarimar's eyes to be mismatched in colors as well, or for their iris to be composed of two colors.

Any features derived from their tiefling parent would be accented with traits from the aasimar's own. Thick tails can have a light plumage running down to the tip, horns can be bright in hue, etcetera. Skin tones range anywhere from dark red to normal human hues and even through pale blues and greens. Tenarimar physiology lends itself to a generally pleasing symmetric aesthetic.
