I'm currently using this item in a campaign:

Wraps of Deftness
Wondrous Item (Uncommon, Requires Attunement)
This item is an inch wide, two foot long strip of finely worked griffon leather. It is decorated with scroll-work and the phrase "Death is lighter than a feather" in elven is embossed into it. When wrapped around the shaft, hilt or grip of a melee weapon the magic takes effect and the weapon becomes lighter and more balanced. While the wrap is affixed to a weapon in this way, the weapon gains the finesse property if it did not already have it, and loses the heavy property if it had that property. In addition, damage caused by this weapon is treated as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance or immunity to non-magical attacks and damage.

The most potentially broken thing you can do with this is combining Polearm Master and Sneak Attack. I'm currently sort of doing that with my Barbarian/Rogue, but I still think GWM would have been more damage.

This is a sort of silly item that I made for a hockey themed character

Puck of Chirping
Wondrous Item (Uncommon, Requires Attunement)
This enchanted hockey puck is suspended on a chain and worn around the neck. The puck has two charges. While you are wearing it, you can use a bonus action and expend a charge to cast the Vicious Mockery spell. Charisma is your casting stat for this spell. If the target of the spell fails their save, in addition to the normal effects of the spell, they have disadvantage on the first Strength or Dexterity ability check they make during their next turn. The puck regains all its charges at dawn and when you score a goal in game of ice hockey with at least three players on each team.

these are all items I've included in my campaign. The pixie dust is gathered/created by literally shaking dead pixies over a bag (it's a monster campaign, they can do what they want)

Eager Dagger of Returning
Weapon (Dagger), uncommon (requires attunement)
The bearer does not require an interaction to draw or sheath this weapon, and it can be called back to your hand after being thrown as a free action as long as it is within 150 feet (by shouting a command word).

Minor Leaching Greataxe
Weapon (Greataxe), uncommon (requires attunement)
Once per long rest, when you successfully hit an opponent, you can deal an extra 1d6 necrotic damage and gain the same amount of temporary hitpoints.

Pixie Dust
Single Use thrown item - throwing Range 60 ft
When the bag impacts on a target or spot, the Pixie dust explodes outwards and spreads 10 feet from the spot of impact. Roll 5d8 and characters in the area fall asleep per the effects of the sleep spell.

Two Faced Coin
Single use item
The magic coin is golden in color with stamping on either side of it. One one side it shows an image of a happy looking man, on the other side there is a man with his head on the table. As a free action you may speak the command word, the coin will pop out of your pouch and flip into the air. Roll a d4 - on 1-2 it lands with the happy man face up, 3-4 the sad man. If flipped manually you get of feel of woe or happiness based on how it lands. Once used the coin fades into a normal gold piece (worth 1 GP).
Happy Man - The roll that you just rolled turns into an automatic success
Sad Man - The roll will turn into a critical failure. On an attack you drop your weapon. On a skill check it will have the opposite effect intended. One a save, the spell will be doubly effective.

Cheaters Coin
This appears to be a normal copper coin, with a King’s head on one side and a Queen’s on the other. With experimentation you discovered that when you focus on a side, it will always land on that side.

My own item for a Magic Item competition a while back

EDIT: (This is unrelated but why do I no longer have a profile picture and why can't I find it to set one?)

I've written tons. Some are available on the blog here (http://mfov.magehandpress.com/2017/03/7-disappointing-magic-items.html) and here (http://mfov.magehandpress.com/2017/01/simple-magic-items.html) - and there are more in our patreon books (I wrote most of the Tundra (https://store.magehandpress.com/products/tundra-update) and Weird West (https://store.magehandpress.com/products/weird-west-update) magic items. Well, strictly speaking Weird West was more of a team effort, but you know). I've got plenty more waiting to be published!

You can get a free taste of the Tundra items here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=20505579&postcount=1). I've also posted a selection (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=19581845&postcount=2) based on a random item name generator and an artifact based on the Enchiridion (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=20767211&postcount=12) from Adventure Time.

There are others scattered about, but I can't be bothered to track them down right now. :smalltongue:

Who knows. Some image hosting sites purge old images occasionally (I've found tinypic to be more reliable than most, but I still don't trust it), and if you linked it from an image from someone else's website, there's always a risk they could delete it or even close the site entirely.

You should be able to change it in General Settings on the Settings page.

My players haven't found this yet, but I'm interested in what they do with it.

Blade of the Fallen
This bright silver sword, rumored to be the blade of an ancient hero, has inscriptions that read, "Dulce et decorum est." Once attuned, its wielder can whisper its command word and deal an extra 2d6 radiant damage to every target he strikes with the blade. The wielder also suffers radiant damage equal to the amount rolled, and it cannot be resisted. The extra damage continues until either the wielder dies, or no hostile creatures are within 100 ft. The wielder may neither drop nor sheath the blade until this effect ends.
