I bet I have heared about it somewhere but I just can't remember what feat it is...
The trick was basicly play clean wizard/sorc, trade your familiar for an animal companion with sme ACF (druid level treated as 1/2 wizard level), take Obtain Familiar feat, and the [the mysterious something] that allows you to combine your levels that grant you familiar and animal companion, so you get 1.5 x level progression...
Anyone has any ideas, or is it just me imagining things?
Edit1: The ACF that lets you swap familiar for a companion is the Wilderness Companion from UA
