Did anyone else notice that a shark is introduced in the comic during Shark Week on Discovery Channel? :smallconfused: I hadn't noticed this myself until just a few minutes ago, when I saw a commercial for it while I was taking another look at the latest strip.

Coincidence? Well-planned gag? Could the last few strips have been leading up to this? Or do I just have an uncanny knack for noticing strange, irrelevant details? :smallsigh:

And did Rich deliberately this "jump (on) the shark" bit?

Look at the spoiler tag on Rich's post of the 479 discussion thread. Should explain it.

"Rich" and "Jump the shark" Should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

Then there were the Great Whites spotted off the Cornish coast in Cornwall, Englandshire.

A friend of mine is utterly convinced that our dear old government has a cover-up going on the number of shark deaths in Cornish waters. In order to protect the tourist trade, of course. My perspective- that the locals of Downing Street would be hard pressed to cover-up a stain on the carpet- finds little favour.

Apparently Shark Week is gearing up to be the next webcomics phenomenon. (http://www.graphicsmash.com/comics/wonderella.php)

Killer or survivor... Both! Kills to survive. Problem solved, move along.
