For some reason, I'm really, really disappointed.
I don't know why though.
I mean, it's early, and above that it's food. These two put together usually means something wonderful, but, I don't know.
It's half eleven, okay? It's not twelve. Twelve is the time for lunching. That shouldn't matter either, though, because it's not I have any schedule.
But, it's... it's early.
It's early lunch.

Why do you have lunch so late?
Lunch is twelve, that way you go:
Breakfast 7:00am
Lunch 12:00am
Dinner 5:00pm
Then you work in 5 hour shifts.
You do it wrong.
And I now feel extremely annoyed that it's 12:20 and I've had lunch.
I should still be eating it.

Nah.

Exactly. A light brunch should be followed by a lunch proper an hour or so later in the normal course of things.
Of course if you are having an exceptional day it is acceptable to throw etiquette out the window.

Your refusal to acknowledge brunch is imperiling your very being! Eating, second only perhaps to breathing in important intake methods, has labeled a mealtime between breakfast and lunch as brunch, and the very concept of your hunger and it's Messiah, the meal, are rebelling against your arrogance! Repent, and be saved! It's your only salvation!

I lunch between 11:30 and 1:00. Whatever. My mom has been telling me lately that I don't eat enough, living as I do on fruit and salad, so we're working on that....:smalltongue:

I'm going to be an odd one and say 11.00 is lunch time. My school was weird like that. Now I wake up 10.30-11, so what was lunch time is now breakfast! (if I remember that there's such a meal called 'breakfast')

I haven't had brunch in years... I know... it's horrible. But I tend to have lunch at 15.00-16.00 then have dinner at 18.00-21.00.

Breakfast, if remembered, usually consists of coffee and toast.
Lunch is whatever I can find.
Dinner is often Kraft Dinner or various meats.

This is a good opportunity to point out that I am a ruminous creature, like a sheep. I will continue to eat and eat until I burst my stomach and kill myself because I simply don't know any better. That's why structured mealtimes and portioning are so important to me: I'm a dumb animal that would explode myself otherwise!

My lunch was at 11:20 because I made my 3-year-old brother a strawberry-blueberry smoothie and then there was still some left in the blender, so I had to use it. I added a lot more fruit and no more milk, which made it thick, slushy, and wonderful. That was my lunch. Yummy.

I feel for you, it is not right to eat lunch early. It should be against the law.

I have the same lunch every day, is that bad? Wait... I lie, today I had a salami sandwich instead of a ham one, but still, That only really happens once a month, all the other days it is just ham sandwiches, and I don't get bored with it. Is there something wrong with me?

Breakfast: At least an hour after I've woken up.
Lunch: Somewhere between 12:00 and 15:00.
Dinner: Between 18:00 and 19:30.

But mostly, I just eat when I remember I haven't eaten yet. I'm very good at completely forgetting about meals until it's way, way, way too late. And then I eat them anyway.

Also, I just noticed that I automatically extend my pinky finger whenever I pick up a cup of tea. :smallconfused:

I like lunch because I can never eat breakfast. The best I have on weekdays is a sausage role and diet coke at about 7.50 in the morning on the train. At weekends I get up at around 12.00 and go straight to lunch.

Meh, I dont always eat lunch. My idea of a good day is one wher i get up lateish, cram a waffle into my mouth 'cuz i'll feel bad if i don't, and eat snacks for the rest of the day, if i get hungry i order pizza or heat up something frozen.

Breakfast: I get up at five in the morning to go to work. No time for breakfast there.
Lunch: 12:00 - 12:30. Not really any debate there. that's my lunch break.
Dinner: Whenever. Usually about 6:00 - 7:00.

I usually don't eat breakfast, but when I do, I do so when I get in to work at 7:00. Then Lunch at just after 11 (usually 11:15) and supper anytime I can be botheres to get me something to eat in the evening.
Somtimes that means at 5 or 6, sometimes it means 9 or 10 at night.

This seemed fun!

School Days:
Breakfast: Usually 6:45ish. Only because I have to be out the door before 7:00.
Lunch: Noon (Jibar's right)
Dinner: 6:00ish? I never really pay attention.

Vacation:
Breakfast: N/A
Lunch: I'll get up anywhere between 10am and 12pm, so lunch is usually at 12pm (again, Jibar is right).
Dinner: Same as school days.

Yeah, pretty average.

An early lunch isn't that bad.

Well, from the biological stand point, your body needs a significant amount of calories every 4 hours, otherwise it goes into "starvation mode" and starts storing instead of utilizing. You can train yourself to not feel hungry until later times, but you're denying biology! Knock it off!

Lunch does, or atleast should, not take 5 minutes! What are you going to eat in 5 minutes? An apple!? It's the middle of the day, you have to get over that last hump _and_ make up for an defficiencies from your breakfast. If anything, lunch should be the longest and largest meal of your day!

Breakfast around 6:30 AM, snack at 10:30, lunch at 11:30, snack at 3:30, dinner at 7:30, snack again if you stay up passed 11:30 PM.

[snacks should not be candy or junk food, try fruit or vegetables or something with complex carbohydrates]

Lunch is any food eaten between the times of eleven in the morning and two in the afternoon. Breakfast is any food eaten fefore said Lunch time parameters, while dinner takes place only between the set moments of four and seven thirty in the afternoon. Anything eaten between lunch and dinner is a snack, regardless of quantity or quality.
