I was looking at Strahd's stat block in the Curse of Strahd module and it says he's CR 15. However, just looking at the basic abilities, he's solidly CR 17.
Defensive CR: 16 AC, 330 Effective HP (110 + 60 from Regeneration + 90 from Legendary Resistance x3) = CR 17
Offensive CR: If all he does is use his actions + legendary actions to Unarmed Strike 5 times per round, it's +9 attack bonus, 110 DPR = CR 17
That's ignoring all his other features.
Am I missing something?
EDIT: I'm wrong, Offensive CR is 13.5 so the average is 15.25 aka 15 so it's correct. Reporting thread for deletion!
