that is a very good answer but I doubt my DM will let me use stuff from Dragon Magazine cause he doesn't have them, also we're supposed to be somewhat monster-y

Hmmm... well it seems that troll or ogre magei s the lowest LA creature you could play with regeneration... you could play a necropolitan with fast healing that's kind of like regeneration. There is the half-troll template(+4 LA) but that gives only fast healing 5 you could ask the gm if he would allow it to be regeneration.

A druid 7/MoMF 2 can turn into a troll and get its regeneration by casting Enhance Wild Shape. They have enough wild shape uses to keep it up all day, though a Pearl of Power may be necessary to get the required number of 4th-level spells.

Arguably, a something 1/Divine Minion 1/MoMF 7 can also do it, which would end up being available sooner should LA buyoff be allowed.
