So I'm in a pathfinder(the whole PFSRD allowed with few exceptions) game where they generally allow mundane items from official 3.5 without question and I'm looking for a weapon. Playing a Ranger with the Scout archetype subed out for the Spellsinger archetype so, yay magic.
I'm looking for a weapon to use not really sure what I want to pick. My characters seem to be consistently underpowered compared to the rest of the party, likely because I am more adept at 3.5 than PF, so I was thinking of going for power in my weapon with a Sand Blaster. With the Energy Blade talent and its improvements it can deal out some serious damage unless they have evasion.
A spear of some sort would be more thematically appropriate for the character, but doesn't really give anything special and I'm not well versed enough in PF to know of any awesome options with them.
Other weapons are of course welcome, but bows and straight swords are probably less likely to fit the character well.
