Just some fun ideas I have cone up with for my new character.

He is a chronic drunken pirate Half-orc. He is CG and loves to fight, but does it in a bar room brawl and boasting type manner not trying to kill people. He is proficient in improvised weapons.

He also carried a barrel on his back filled with water so he can keep his pet Quippers with him. He would not hit anyone with the barrel but he would shove someone in the thing.

Just looking for cool ideas for improvised weapon situations.

His main tactic is to club people with his beer stein or throw a harpoon.

Carries various ropes, chains and pirating gear.

He is a grappling specialist and unarmed guy.

Maybe:

Hit them with the rope, then bonus action tie them up (grapple check)

The always reliable, grapple then shove, then just pound them til they can beat my check.

Grapple, then climb and jump., shove or just let go. Finish with elbow drop (unarmed strike)

In my last session I rode a flying halbeard 190 ft downwards and speared it into the ground to deal damage (recieved feather fall before I took damage) then tools the broken spear head and threw it back at another flying halbeard.

This is gonna sound like a joke suggestion but it isn't: watch a whole bunch of Jackie Chan movies. Improvised weapon brawling was basically his entire gimmick throughout the 90s and early 2000s. Check this out:

You'll find a lot of inspiration in there.

I grew up on Shaw Brothers movies and have lived martial arts movies for almost 35 years. I know them well.

I will carry a small bench and fight over the lade wanton with an old martial artist.
