The spell guardian of faith question.

Has anyone used this spell? If so how have you used this spell?

I was going to use it as a way to protect some slaves while we cleared out the rest of the fortress they were trapped in, but we haven't gone there yet.

Something that I didn't realize on my first reading is that it says that it occupies the spaces it's in (it's large, so a 10 by 10 square) which could mean that it would be impossible for many enemies to move through those squares while the guardian is there. That is how my DM ruled when I asked him, which does make it potentially interesting as a way to block movement.

It would also give you cover while you cast sacred flame!
