I was just wondering what things could be done with certain spells like prestidigitation and grease. Could you for example rob someone blind by carrying a large item in hand, but casting alter self to make you look like you are walking normally and with nothing in hand?(and probably as a different race with a different face so they don't know that it was you) Things that can't be done as well, like summoning cupcakes into your foe's brain. Really, just give examples of the wackiest ways spells and feats may be used to help expand my mind. Thanks in advance

1. Charm person, then use diplomacy to move their reaction further into the positive, then get them do to ANYTHING you want, Bards when played right are better thieves than rogues.

2. Erase to alter bills, cheques, bank statements, temple records, etc...

3. Ventriliquism and Silent Image.... MWAH-HA-Ha!

4. Unseen servant, gets anywhere, will do anything, does so while invible and you are promenantly visible somewhere else.

Ask your DM.
- if you try to get infinite gold in this way the townguard will find you and kill you.
- if the DM isn't what he should be, the first time you try this you'll unkowingly rob a 20th LvL Lich Wizard with a tarasque familiar.

Alter self is a shapeshifting spell. Using it to hide an object would be tricky, though if you pulled it off the object would be melded into your body, and very well concealed indeed. Disguise self might work. But it would be more straightforward just to invisibility the item. You can make rather large objects invisible, incidentally...a downed tree across the road may be classic, but what about an invisible tree?

Abusing the stupidly broken diplomacy rules isn't funny, whether or not you use magic to assist.

Effective, it is.

The servant can't go beyond close range of you. Not the best alibi when the invisible bandit only acts within 30 feet of you...
