I have a bit of time on my hands and I've been in a writing/evaluating mood too. I was looking at a number of prestige classes and realized that there are far fewer handbooks for PrCs than base classes so I was considering making a handbook for some PrCs. There are so many I couldn't decide where to start.

If anyone has any requests let me know and I can try to start there. I would prefer to do PrCs mainly because they aren't covered as much, but I could consider a base class if it hasn't been done before.

Maybe Master Specialist or Radiant Servant of Pelor?

I'd say go with a PrC that has a degree of customization as its class features. Master Specialist, Mythic Exemplar, Squire of Legend are a few examples.

I really like these. I would also really like to see what the community could do with Horizon Walker.

Also, the Saint Template itself would probably make a good handbook.

Also, a Dragonwrought Ko ... never mind

To be honest, I would really like to see a Dragonwrought Ko *cough*... The Ultimate Scaled One handbook. There are many things that I don't fully understand, like the Loredrake and the like.

Well part of the issue for such a handbook is that there are still disputes over the legality of such cheese.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I had been looking at ToB but I think I will start with Master Specialist. Lots of choices to ponder there but support exists in the form of the wonderful 'how to wizard' handbooks.

"You'll probably enter as a Ranger; take Terrain Mastery in this order (Desert > Plains > Hills > Forest > Marsh) and Planar Terrain Mastery in this order (Shifting > Cavernous > Fiery > Cold > Aligned)?"

I'd love to see something on Deepwood Sniper, Disciple of Dispater, Psychic Weapon Master, Weapon Master, Rainbow Servant, Dragon Disciple, Shadow Dancer, Arcane Trickster, Arcane Archer, and several that have been given already, and many more!!!

I have always liked arcane Archer. It needs some love... and caster progression...

Yea... I gave em half caster progression, more spells to put on arrows(the most amusing consequence of which is bards being able to shoot people with heal-arrows:
*Thunk* "Ouch. Ooooohhhhh, that's the spot."), and an ability to overcome wind effects(so you don't get shut down by a frickin second level spell).

I like it... Keep up the awesome work, and share the changes! XD

Well, it's not much more than that.
Here's the changes I made for my game:

10. Arcane Archer:

* They get a caster progression - +1 arcane spellcasting class at every odd level.

* All of their abilities(Imbue arrow, Seeker Arrow, etc.), except Arrow of Death have a number of uses per day equal to the AA's level.

* Arrow of Death has a DC 18 + your Dex modifier.

* You can now tentatively put more spells on your arrows, subject to the following restrictions:
- Target: One Creature (or its variations) or [?] Creature Touched
- Casting time: 1 full-round action or less
- I don't know all the spells so I reserve the right to veto some. I just feel they should get this specific boost. Just ask.
- Also the thought of a bard shooting his allies with arrows imbued with Cure spells amuses me to no end.
- Other similar ideas: You can also shoot polymorphing arrows. Or invisibility arrows.

* Unerring Flight(Su): Additionally, at every even level except L2, the arrows you loose treat all wind effects lighter. Example: If you are a 10th level Arcane Archer, your arrows treat all wind effects as 4 categories lighter. So you can shoot even through tornado-force winds at a mere -2 penalty to attacks. And even through a Wind Wall spell(which is considered a Windstorm force wind). This ability is magical and doesn't work in areas where magic is negated, such as Antimagic field or dead magic zones.
The half caster progression is because the game is played in gestalt, where the struggle to maintain caster level is lessened.
Otherwise I'd give them anything from 6/10 to 8/10 progression.
The use limitation is to prevent it from being a 2 level class. Or at least discourage it.

They do that in the Expanded Psionics Handbook. You don't need another one.

It's... really not all that confusing. I'm not sure how people convince themselves of that when they were perfectly able to understand the vancian system.

Ok master specialist is ready for community comment. I will have to decide what to look at next, now.
A special handbook for masters: The Master Specialist Handbook (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?527828-A-special-handbook-for-masters-The-Master-Specialist-Handbook)
