I have a few questions about the Mind Seed psionic power.

1) Does anything remain of the original creatures mind/memories once the power completely manifests?

2) This is related to the first question. What happens to existing class levels, feats, skills, etc that the target had when the power began to take hold?

1) No, there's a reason the power is Evil. It completely erases a being from existence and replaces it with a copy of yourself. That's on par with mind rape in terms of sheer messed-up-ness.

2) They're gone, replaced by those of the caster.

The character that will be doing it is Evil so that's not a big concern.

Following up on this, the description of the power says that the target effectively takes 8 negative levels and becomes (in terms of powers) how the manifester was 8 levels ago. So, what happens if the target has enough levels that they would have levels left over after the adjustment. Like if the manifester is level 19 and the target is level 20. 8 levels ago for the manifester is level 11 while the target will suffer 8 negative levels resulting in level 12. What about that extra level? Or am I misunderstanding how everything works?

Also why are humanoids the only valid targets for mind seed?
This means that a monstrous humanoid can not cast mind seed onto another monstrous humanoid but he can on a regular humanoid and also chtulu could cast mind seed on an humanoid but not on anything else and yet the humanoid can not put his mind in chtulu brain so the only conclusion is that an humanoid brain can contain the the mind of chtulu but not the reverse.(or that the restriction about casting the spell is not based on whenever your target can contain your mind or not)
The alternative is that they did not think at all about the fact there was stuff other than humanoids that were intelligent.

That's a great observation. Especially, when you consider aberrations.

The target does not suffer any negative levels. The target simply becomes you, as you were 8 levels before you manifested the power. They could be level 50 billion, and if you manifested the power at level 15, they would become a 7th level character.

One would wonder what happens to feats and class features that have physical properties (such as a dragon disciple's wings, or the freakish form granted by Willing Deformity: Gaunt). The only logical conclusion seems to be that they remain, but can no longer be used and become solely cosmetic, providing no mechanical consequences.

When integration is complete (after one week), the subject becomes you in mind as you were when you manifested the power, but the subject’s level is eight lower than your own. (In effect, the subject has received eight negative levels—but these are negative levels that can’t be removed.) The subject does not have any of your physical ability scores or equipment, but does have the Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores you had when you were eight levels lower. The subject also knows the powers you knew when you were eight levels lower.
nothing ever say that the properties of his body change.
So someone could possibly argue that the target keeps the stats boosts he did get in the past from prcs and that the target keeps everything passive his body had(like if he was mind jarred(and even possibly do not lose hp nor win any hp)).
