Third bullet.
"When you make a melee attack against a creature, you don't provoke opportunity attacks from that creature for the rest of the turn, whether you hit or not."
So, you can be OA during close to melee but not if you attack enemy "A," move away to perform some bonus action (thrown weapon toward enemy "B" for example.) Adjacent to you also, enemy "C" still gets OA.
Am I reading that correctly?
