D&D 3.5 Forum History Question

Greetings all,
I have been lurking these forums for the past year or so and I occasionally find links and references to a Wizards of the Coast, 339, or gleemax forum. I know the WotC one stopped being sponsored, but I don't know what happened to the others.

In short, what were the gleemax and 339 forums and have we lost any information that was on them?

To answer your question more directly, 339 and gleemax were older WotC boards.
