What is Level Adjustment for the effigy template?

If PC would like to play awaken effigy construct. What LA is for it?

There is no LA for it as-written, most likely because effigies do not have an intelligence score.

That said, I think +1 would be fine for most games. Yes, you gain all of the useful construct immunities, but your BAB gets set to 3/4th (annoying if you're a warrior wanting to use that +4 strength), your dexterity and charisma are shafted and your saving throws suffer as well.

Note that the above LA assumes the lack of intelligence is somehow taken care of. Otherwise, it's a +0 at best.
