Recent experience with vehicle wifi?

I'm interested in/have been looking into getting wifi in my vehicle (well, I'm going to be getting a new vehicle soon), and I was wondering if my fellow playgrounders had any advice.

I've read about a few things, Zubie and Vinli and Mojio in particular, and I've noticed a problem: the information is dated. Most of the reviews and articles I'm finding are from 2015 and early 2016. I imagine the technology's progressed in the past year+.

So... any pointers? Thanks in advance!

I have two friends who tried (note the past tense) Zubie, and one who bought a car with built in wifi. Based on them and others I have heard from (but not really close friends), if you are getting a NEW car and want this functionality, go ahead and spring for the upgrade in the car itself. It's a lot more reliable (better reception) and durable (both the Zubie owners had issues with the devices breaking).
