So the Alchemy jug is a pretty strange magic item. You got several liquids to choose from, and giving the word for one of them will allow it to pour that liquid, but only that one until the next day or it runs out.

What are some clever usages for such an item?

I gave a party an Alchemy Jug once to see what they might come up with for it. The best they did was leasing it to a tavern owner for a cut of the sales on the beer and wine he produced with it.

By complete coincidence on random chart rolls, by level 5 our party had e alchemy jugs and a Daerns instant fortress.

I strapped the alchemy jugs to the wall, and opened a traveling bar, we when bought another Daerns Instant Fortress to open an traveling store with it.

The poison can also be a great boast at lower levels.
