In 3.5 it was druid/wizard prestige class built around combining both familiar and companion while keeping mostly full casting from each.
But Druids don't have companions this time around (while a druid/wizard multiclass is still on my list to try but I already have that built)
This thread is help building a ranger wizard
I have a few options
. 3/17
5/15
7/13
Considering that hunters mark combos well with magic missile and scorching ray I feel like wizard is a good main class. Edit: nvm, doesn't work
3 ranger feels good because you only lose 1 spell slot lvl
5 gives extra attack so there's gish potential
7gives bonus action use for animal
Thinking gnome, and focusing on dex and intellect
Probably ranger first for all the proficiencys and extra health
Is a lvl3 companion useless even as a flying mount?
Lvl7 too far into the class? Or is that the preferred break point
I want to keep to main books. No UA nor homebrew
