I really like how Saruman's face came out. I'm pretty decent at painting in general, but I've never figured out how to do faces that don't look retarded.

Easiest thing ever. For Saruman, I started with a black undercoat and then painted the whole thing (except his staff) Scorched Brown. Then I worked my way up to Bleached Bone for the robes, Skull White for the hair, and for the face, I think I went Bestial Brown, then Elf Flesh, then a 50/50 mix of Elf Flesh and Pallid Flesh, if I recall correctly. Just keep a minimum of paint on the brush and make sure to keep the darker colors in the wrinkles. Good thing Christopher Lee is so old. Makes it easier.
