[d20 Modern] Does any body know what happened to these Companies?

RPG Objects and The Game Mechanics put out some pretty good supplements for d20 Modern. But they've dropped off Earth and my Google searching isn't finding any data. Anybody know what happened to them?

RPG Objects website (http://www.rpgobjects.com/) is still up but the blog hasn't been updated in a year.

City of Liberty was printed by Green Ronin but the development was all done by The Game Mechanics and JD Wiker closed the business this year. So they are now defunct. He has a Facebook Fan Club page and has some material from The Game Mechanics available there. Believe me, the City of Liberty was one I was really hoping to see complete as well.

I loved the initiative cards that The Game Mechanics made. Just now had to go to my old desktop upstairs and email the PDF's to myself, so I don't lose them.
