Class Features:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Apostates can cast their spells in light armor. They gain proficiency with light armor.

Blood Magic (Su): Rachel's exposure to the lyrium mines in the Deep Roads sent her into the Fade several times over the year she was lost. She has forgotten how, but while she was there she learned the secrets of blood magic without making any deals with a demon (that she knows of). Rachel can take a point of Constitution damage to cast a spell that is not in her spellbook of a greater level than she is able to cast. Using Blood Magic without binding to a demon leaves Rachel fatigued. Using this ability while she is fatigued makes her exhausted. Rachel cannot use Blood Magic while she is exhausted or if she has any way of negating the Constitution damage she would take (such as being undead).

The Witch of the Wilds (Ex): Despite turning down Flemeth's offer, Rachel cannot escape her true nature. Her time alone has strengthened her hag blood. Rachel adds all druid spells to the wizard spell list, and she can learn one additional spell per level, but that spell must come from the druid spell list.

Live Free or Die Hard (Su): Rachel would rather perish than be caged again. As a full-round action that provokes an attack of opportunity, Rachel can cause her own blood to erupt inside her. This ability causes Rachel to implode, and reduces her body to a small mass of blood and bone. After one minute, Rachel automatically reforms herself. She returns to her old form with all equipment in its proper place, but any bindings or the like have fallen off.

If Rachel uses this ability to successfully escape a grapple, the target grappling her must make a Fortitude save (DC 10+Rachel's class level+Rachel's Constitution modifier) or be nauseated for the entire minute that she is goo.

Blood of the First (Ex): As a fellow blood mage, Merrill understands Rachel's struggles in ways no one else can. Merrill's Blood of the First ability improves (requires Merrill Friendship) and Anders's Vengeance improves (requires Anders Rivalry).

Asha'bellanar's Brood (Su): The changeling's name takes on a new meaning. Rachel gains the ability to Wild Shape, as a druid of her character level. Any form she takes retains her mismatched eyes.

Home is Where You Hang Your Hat (of Disguise) (Sp): No matter where Rachel goes, the templars will be looking for her. She needs to blend in perfectly. Rachel gains the A Thousand Faces feature of a druid, but every form she takes retains her mismatched eyes.

No More Rules (Ex): Rachel has no time for rules or mercy, and out in the wild that applies doubly so. She no longer suffers from the Restricted Schools feature of the wizard, but retains the benefits of her school specialization. Upon gaining this feature, Rachel immediately scribes one evocation and one necromancy spell of each level she can cast into her spellbook for free.

Lyrium Inhibitor (Su): The templars are the biggest threat in Rachel's life, and she must learn to deal with them as she has dealt with everyone else. Her time with Auron has taught her well. Rachel can spend a full-round action to separate the lyrium in a templar's blood from his body. She can target a templar within 50 feet. If the templar fails a Fortitude save (DC 10+Rachel's class level + Rachel's Constitution modifier) he loses all benefits of the lyrium immediately and takes 1d6 points of slashing damage per class level as Rachel rips the lyrium from his body.

Blood Thrall (Sp): Blood magic involves wielding the bodies of individuals like marionettes. Rachel can spend a use of Blood Magic to cast dominate person as a spell-like ability, however the ability does not grant a bonus on saves for orders that go against the target's nature.

Voice of the Wild (Ex): Rachel gains the Natural Spell feat as a bonus feat if she does not already have it, and she can speak any language she normally is able to in any form she takes through spellcasting or abilities as long as that form has a mouth.

The True Self (Sp): Rachel has mastered Flemeth's power. She becomes a true hag, and gains the monstrous humanoid type instead of her old type. She can use her Asha'bellanar's Brood ability to cast shapechange on herself, but any form she takes retains her mismatched eyes.

Improved Blood Thrall (Sp): When Rachel uses Blood Thrall, she casts dominate monster instead of dominate person.

Technically, Sorcerer works better as the key point of DA magic is it's rather... spontaneous and based on force of will rather than sheer intelligence as noted by every event where an apostate mage freaks out.

In any event, you may want to change the "wizard" class requirement to "able to prepare and cast arcane spells" as the arcanist class also exists in pathfinder and would be a valid choice.

Understanably though this is about a specific person's choices, but oh well.
