Presume for a moment that you are say a level 10 character, with one of those levels being in one psionic class (say Wilder), and the other nine in another (say Psion). You have the Linked Power metapower.
What happens when you manifest a power from the higher level class (Psion) linked to a power from the lower level class (Wilder)? The Psion power's ML is 9, while the Wilder power's ML is 1; which one do you use to limit the power points that can be spent?

Using this feat increases the power point cost of the power manifested this round by a number equal to the power point cost of the linked power.
Emphasis mine. From what I can tell the ML limit would be based on the first power. This raises the question of whether or not you could therefore augment the second power (the low level class's power) up to the ML of the first power?
