Hello. I recently visited this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?528422-Pact-of-the-Eldritch-Fist) here on GitP and felt inspired. While that OP was creating a pact boon, I chose a monk-like patron instead. So, here is The Enlightened, sans fluff text.


1st level Expanded Spells
1st Heroism, Sanctuary
3rd Calm Emotions, Enhance Ability
5th Feign Death, Haste
7th Aura of Purity, Freedom of Movement
9th Commune, Dispel Evil and Good


1st level Mystical Shell
[fluff text] When you are not wearing armor or using a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier. If you would receive a similar boost to your Armor Class from another source, use the higher bonus.
At 3rd level, if you choose the Pact of the Blade as your Pact Boon, you may use your unarmed strike as your weapon. If you do not have any Martial Arts training from another source, treat your unarmed strike as a finesse, 1d4 bludgeoning weapon. At 6th level your unarmed damage increases to 1d8.


6th level Arcane Flurry
[fluff text] You may expend one spell slot to add an extra 1d6 force damage to your unarmed attack per spell slot level expended. Additionally, when you successfully inflict damage in this way, you may cast a cantrip as a bonus action.

10th level Enlightened Fortitude
[fluff text] As a bonus action, when your hit points fall below half your maximum to a minimum of 1, for one minute, you heal an amount of hit points at the start of each round (including the round you initiated this ability) equal to your warlock level. This ability does not require concentration and is usable once per long rest.

14th level Transcendent Arcanum
Your master has imparted the knowledge of being able to transcend the mortal form and travel the ethereal plane. At 14th level, choose one use of your Mystic Arcanum spell slots. As long as you are carrying a light load at most, you may spend an amount of time on the Border Ethereal depending on the spell slot level you expend. Your 6th level Mystic Arcanum spell slot allows for 1 hour of travel and for every Mystic Arcanum spell slot beyond this, add 1 hour to this time. At 19th level, when you expend your 9th level Mystic Arcanum spell slot, you may travel within the Deep Ethereal and travel there for an amount of hours equal to your warlock level x10. For details on travel within the Ethereal Realm, see p. 49 of the Dungeon Master's Guide.
Once you have used this ability, you cannot do so again until you have completed a long rest.

Just make your AC 10+Dex+Cha. Simpler.

Overall, feels pretty weak. Could probably stand to be buffed.

Cool, thanks for the info and tips.

Changelog:
* Changed Mystical Shell's armor bonus as per suggestion and buffed unarmed strikes.
* removed short/long rest requirement from Arcane Flurry. Increase damage output creating nova potential, but (hopefully) not enough to outclass the paladin or other classes.
* I gave Enlightened Fortitude an upgrade from Charisma modifier to warlock level.
