What about magical damage ? Any info on magic weapons hitting it or magic damage spells

It only says blocking any spell cast into or out from the area.
Which can be interpreted as not letting it go past but still hitting the prison

I'm pretty sure it means you cannot escape without say teleportation magic, as that is the paragraph it heads. You can't escape it except with teleportation magic and if you do try you have to make a save.

It pretty clearly blocks line of effect for spells, meaning you can't shoot a fireball out of it, but could cast a flame strike.

If you make the barred cage type, you can fire through it, if you mske the solid one you cant.

Barred cage would be 3/4 cover (lol to Sharpshooter archers nailing through it as if it wasnt there).

But yeah. Unless you have misty step, teleport, plane shift, gaseous form (for barred version) or similar, or are huge or larger, you're stuck for an hour.

lol if you make the barred one and creatures that can move through spaces of 3 inches are stuck inside but archers can nail you.

what about sea sorcerer? How do you think the level 14 feature interacts here?
