Looking for suggestions on contingency combos for this spell

For surviving big fights

If you multiclass, have a death ward on and get otiluke's resilient sphere available as contingency.
Instant survival.

Or be a half-orc wizard with another otiluke's resilient sphere as cobtingency. Condition is always when your orcish endurance activates.

Hmmmm... I think you're looking for something clever. That's not what I'm offering. I just used Contingency for a basic defense:

Dispel Magic: Contingency casts a level 5 Dispel Magic when I'm effected by a spell or other magic effect that afflicts me with the condition Blindness, Charmed, Frightened, Paralyzed, Restrained or Stunned, or the spells Bestow Curse, Confusion, Feeblemind, or Magic Jar.

Adjust to suit your own particular needs.

I actually really like casting Death Ward on yourself with another Death Ward prepared via Contingency if the first is used.

Might be a bit overkill on making sure you don't die, but I'm assuming that's the point.
